Welcome to The 22nd International Symposium
on Eco-materials Processing and Design
( ISEPD 2024 )

The International Symposium on Eco-materials Processing and Design (ISEPD) was established by the international cooperation of Japan, Korea, and China, and the 1st symposium was held in Korea in February 2000. Till now, the ISEPD conference has been held annually, and the venue has expanded to other Asian Countries: Thailand, Vietnam, Nepal, and India. Starting from the last year of the 20th century, the ISEPD has provided valuable occasions to get-together wide-range of researchers for exchanging their knowledge of science and engineering of eco-materials for more than 20 years, and the community is continuously expanding in not only Asia but also worldwide.

Now, the economy and industries are conspicuously developing around the world, including in Asia. Industrial development is derived from the scientific activities supported by researchers and engineers. The worldwide issue is the global environment. In addition, the last few years of the coronavirus pandemic affected our lifestyle, the worldwide economy, and industry. So how will we be able to protect the environment, keep our lives safe and healthy, and develop a sustainable society. The materials processing and design might be the keys to solving these issues.

It is my great honor to announce that The 22nd International Symposium on Eco-materials Processing and Design (ISEPD 2024) will be held in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, on January 21–24, 2024. The ISEPD 2024 conference will cover advancements in research, production, and use of eco-materials. The symposia series offers material researchers and users the opportunity for new knowledge on eco-materials in the fields of green processing, advanced materials, energy conversion, environmental protection, surface coating manufacturing, long-term usage, bio-materials for health care, and AI materials. And it’s a great opportunity for all participants to share their research, various ideas, and knowledge covering all fields of eco-materials. It’s exciting to see many international participants join us. Besides academic experience, the participants will be impressed by the local activities and culture. We hope all participants will gain the most experiences from this conference at Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand.
